The Story Behind The Piece

After experimenting with resin landscapes, I wanted to explore how the ocean could become part of something functional for the home. Rather than creating another traditional piece of wall art, I chose a mirror, allowing the resin waves to flow into the reflection and become part of the space around it.

Ocean Tide became one of the first steps towards expanding ZAIG Studio beyond landscape art and exploring the different ways resin could be used throughout the home.
Materials & Finish

Handcrafted using epoxy resin poured directly onto the mirror to create layers of deep blue, turquoise and white, capturing the movement and depth of ocean waves.

Finished with a natural wooden frame. The resin is individually poured by hand, creating unique patterns, textures and details that cannot be exactly replicated.
Delivery & Care

Delivery

Each piece is handmade to order. Please allow 1-3 weeks for your artwork to be created. Once complete, your artwork will be carefully packaged and sent via tracked delivery.

Care

Clean the mirror gently using a soft cloth. Avoid applying cleaning products directly onto the resin and wooden frame. Keep away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
