The Story Behind The Piece

Following the piece that started our F1 collection, Silverstone was created as the next step in developing the series.

Rather than using one design style across every circuit, I wanted each piece to have its own identity. For Silverstone, the artwork was designed around Mercedes, using a sleek black background with turquoise detailing inspired by the team’s distinctive colour palette.

Every element of the circuit artwork was digitally hand drawn from scratch in Procreate, before being brought to life with a glossy resin finish, hand painted edges and a 3D model car.

The result is a piece designed to celebrate both an iconic British circuit and one of motorsport’s most recognisable teams, while continuing the style that began with the very first ZAIG Studio F1 piece.
Materials & Finish

The artwork begins as an original digital illustration, hand drawn in Procreate specifically for this design. Once created, the circuit artwork is transferred onto a solid board base and finished by hand with glossy epoxy resin.

A miniature model car is carefully mounted onto the artwork to create dimension, while the edges are hand painted in turquoise to coordinate with the overall design. Each piece is individually made and finished by hand, so slight variations may naturally occur.
Delivery & Care

Delivery

Each piece is handmade to order. Please allow 1 to 3 weeks for your artwork to be created. Once complete, it will be carefully packaged and sent via tracked delivery.

Care

Gently dust using a soft, dry cloth or duster. Avoid harsh cleaning products, excessive heat and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Take care around the raised model car when handling or cleaning the artwork.
