The Story Behind The Piece

Inspired by the rugged coves of Sardinia, Emerald Bay explores a different side of the coastline, where crystal clear turquoise waters meet a raw, heavily textured landscape.

I wanted this piece to feel less like a traditional beach scene and more like looking down onto a secluded Mediterranean cove. Layers of texture were built up by hand to form the shoreline and rocky details, before deep turquoise resin was poured to create the contrast and movement of the water.

The combination of rugged terrain and glossy resin gives the piece its depth, bringing together two of the elements that have become central to ZAIG Studio: texture and the ocean.
Materials & Finish

Handcrafted using epoxy resin and a combination of textured materials to create a detailed coastal landscape. Layers of texture form the sandy shoreline and rocky details, while hand poured turquoise resin creates depth, movement and a glossy ocean finish.

Each piece is individually created and finished by hand. Natural variations in the resin, texture and placement of details will occur, making every artwork completely unique.
Delivery & Care

Delivery

Each piece is handmade to order. Please allow 1 to 3 weeks for your artwork to be created. Once complete, it will be carefully packaged and sent via tracked delivery.

Care

Gently dust using a soft, dry cloth or duster. Avoid harsh cleaning products, excess moisture and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Take care around the textured elements when handling or cleaning the artwork.
